
How to get your export.zip
from Apple Health
1) Export your Health data on iPhone
- Open the Health app on your iPhone (the one paired with your Apple Watch).
- Tap your profile picture (top-right).
- Scroll down and tap Export All Health Data (or Export).
- Choose a location in the Files app (e.g. iCloud Drive) or AirDrop it to your Mac/PC.
- Make sure your device language is set to German or English, and that your device has the latest update installed.
- Wait until the export finishes. You’ll get a ZIP file, usually named
export.zip
.
2) Ensure EKG data is included (optional)
- If you want to import EKG data, make sure the
export.zip
contains theEKG.csv
files. These are usually inside the extracted folder underApple\Health\ECG
or similar.
3) Upload to MyHealth Export
- Return to this page and click Choose File.
- Select the export.zip file (the whole ZIP, not individual XML or CSV files).
- Click Start import and keep the page open until the progress bar reaches 100%.
Tips & Troubleshooting
- The export can be large; ensure you have enough free storage and keep your iPhone unlocked during export.
- Make sure the ZIP includes
export.xml
and, if needed,EKG.csv
files. - If the progress seems stuck, check your internet connection and try again.
